About Us

We are John & Brooke Rudis. My wife is with Chesapeake Public Schools & I retired, after 32 years, from the Chesapeake Fire Department. We live in Chesapeake on 21 acres with chickens, turkeys & horses; an ideal setting for our German Shepherds to train, herd & develop their internal drive.  

We are Dennis & Chelle Sullivan.  We reside just south of Richmond.  My wife is a Juvenile Drug Court Probation Officer with Chesterfield County & I am an Investigator with the Department of Juvenile Justice.  We have a huge passion  for GSD's!  In addition, we have two teenage children, two Siamese cats and one tuxedo cat.

 We are so proud of our beautiful German Shepherds!  We are NOT in business to breed, we just know that our Shepherds are amazing and we want  to share, with others, the AWESOME experiences we have had with our dogs!  

Jager, the sire, has been with us for nine years now. He is a laid back, gentle guy; but, fiercely protective. He weighs 98 lbs, has classic coloring, red & black, with a striking dark face.

  Elsa, joined our family five years ago. She comes from a working line (West German/Czech, granddaughter of Vegas du Haut Mansard), her high-drive is evident as she progresses in her scent recognition training with Jim Duncan. Weighing 67 lbs, she is stunningly beautiful with a full red & black coat.  

  Elsie  became a member of our family three years ago.  She is the first born to Elsa and Jager.  She comes from a working line (West German/Czech, great-granddaughter of Vegas du Haut Mansard), Like her mother, she has a very strong scent drive.  Like her father, she is incredibly protective and immensely loyal. Weighing 74 lbs, she is simply just gorgeous!  

  Bodie joined us over two years ago.  His parents are Showline imports from Germany & his lineage is impressive! He is the son of Bronx Der Vorteil and Karlita Di Casa Nobili.  He is very social, has an incredible sense of humor and is simply a wonderful  companion.  He is stunning and a true head-turner everywhere he goes.  He is intimidating at first glance but he is the most fun & laid back dog we have ever owned.   Weighing 91 lbs he is rock solid!

Elvis joined our family a year and a half ago.  Like his 1/2 brother Bodie, his parents are Showline imports from Germany.  His pedigree is top of the line!  Elvis is simply just incredible!  He is extremely smart, he has a great personality, he LOVES the water and is the most faithful and loyal companion.  His coat is absolutely stunning, and his eyes are intense.  Although he has an intimidating appearance , Elvis is such a chill and fun dog.  Weighing almost 90 lbs., Elvis is a beast!

They had NINE puppies, 8 boys and Bella. She was the last pup born! Our puppies live with us, developing keen socialization skills, training for increased drive, obedience, leash abilities & crate competencies.
